Ways You Can Serve

  • December Care Team

    COUNSELING / Counsel those who desire to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ
    CARE AND PRAYER / Encourage and pray with people after the Sunday AM services
    KITCHEN KINDNESS / Provide meals during times of significant life events
    VISITATION To care for home-bound people church through phone calls, cards, and visits
    FUNERAL DINNER TEAM / Help prepare and serve a meal at church
    DEPLOYMENT CARE / To care for military families before, during, and after deployment

    COMMUNITY GROUP LEADER / Lead an adult small group environment
    COMMUNITY GROUP MENTOR / Mentor 5-7 Community Group Leaders

  • Throughout the Year Guest Services

    GUEST SERVICES TEAM LEADER / Schedules, trains and supports guest services volunteer teams
    DOOR GREETER / Welcome every guest at the door with a big smile and a warm greeting offering help to new people
    PARKING TEAM / Welcome every guest in the parking lot by assisting to find parking and warmly greet them
    GUEST RECEPTION / Greet new guests, collect information on the Connect card and give them a gift
    NEXT STEP CENTRAL TEAM / Provide answers to questions about next steps and events
    HOSPITALITY TEAM / Prepare and serve coffee and juice while offering a warm welcome
    USHER / Assist people with finding a seat, meet any special needs, collect the offering and provide needed resources during the service


    ELEMENTARY HOST/PRODUCER / Oversees and directs the large group environment; makes sure onstage and backstage volunteers are ready to go; keeps a close watch on time; serves as the emcee; usually welcomes the children; makes transitions
    WORSHIP TEAM / Leads children and Small Group Leaders in a meaningful time of worship through music
    TECH TEAM / Provide audio, video, and computer graphic support
    SMALL GROUP LEADER / Lead a group of children and encourages spiritual growth through relationships discussion, and other small group activities
    CLASSROOM FACILITATOR / Support the team of Small Group Leaders, welcome children when they arrive and provide classroom support
    CREATIVE PLANNER / Plans creative elements 1-2 months out by using the curriculum and adapting it for practical use by selecting videos, teaching and assembling material lists for the resource support team
    RESOURCE SUPPORT GROUP / Assembles resources for small group activities as directed by

  • Every December LOCAL OUTREACH

    READING TUTOR / Help elementary students in the Fairborn schools with their reading skills, to build relationships and serve the community
    COMMUNITY EVENT COORDINATOR / Coordinate local outreach events in the Fairborn community in order to build relationships and support our “For Our Neighbors” strategy
    COMMUNITY EVENT VOLUNTEER / Assist with local outreach events in the Fairborn community in order to build relationships and support our “For Our Neighbors” strategy


    CHILDCARE COORDINATOR / Compile, maintain and schedule volunteer childcare workers for necessary special events
    MAINTENANCE TEAM MEMBER / Skilled in small to medium size maintenance and repair projects
    SECURITY TEAM / Provide security for various events on a rotating schedule
    MEDICAL RESPONSE TEAM / Trained medical professionals to provide emergency care


    MUSIC / VOCALS & INSTRUMENTAL Actively engage people in worship and prepare them for the message
    MEDIA / Create media and run computer programs to actively engage people
    LIGHTING / Create lighting scenes and run the light board to actively engage people
    AUDIO / Support the music team by setting up and tearing down stage equipment and running the soundboard
    LIVE STREAM / Coordinate with the production team to live stream various events and services, and upload recordings to the YouTube channel and website


    FINANCIAL COACH / Couples and women who have participated in Financial Peace University and are able to coach people through financial crisis.
    FINANCIAL COACH ADVISOR / Lawyers, mortgage specialists, financial advisors, and real estate professionals willing to help answer general questions to individuals referred by the financial coaching team


    SMALL GROUP LEADER / Lead a small group of middle or high school students, build relationships that include communication throughout the week and celebrate spiritual growth.
    CHECK IN TEAM / Assist students with registration and check-in
