Our History

In the late 1920′s, a few Christians began meeting together in Dayton, Ohio. Together, they established a church called Christian Tabernacle. This small group of believers quickly turned into a growing and thriving assembly of Christ followers that began serving and reaching out to the city of Dayton. Over time, they were able to build their first facility on a corner just off Main Street in downtown Dayton. They remained there for several years doing great work for the kingdom of God.

The church thrived at that location for decades, and in 1988, after much prayer and some difficult decisions, Christian Tabernacle’s leadership followed God’s plan to move the church family to the Fairborn/Beavercreek area, changing their name to Faircreek Church. At first, they met in a local school while they raised the funds to purchase the current property and build the initial building, which currently serves as our Worship Center.

God has continued to bless and use the people of Faircreek for His ministry and for His purpose in the surrounding community. By His grace we have continued to grow and have been blessed by a beautiful new facility for children and families (Family Ministry Center).

The church has had seven senior pastors and many staff members over the years. And though Faircreek has changed in a lot of ways, the focus has always been to lead people to a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ.
