At Faircreek, we think GLOCALLY. It means that our influence for the gospel needs to be strong both globally and locally. Our strategy supports ministries around the world that are accomplishing the same mission as Faircreek. In addition, we involve ourselves in having influence for Christ in our local community. We support this strategy with 19% of our annual giving dedicated to influence.
The INSPIRE Project is an outreach ministry that targets needy families in the community. We have partnered with the local schools to provide after-school assistance to struggling students, as well as to share the Gospel and help families experience life-change through Christ. This program runs Monday through Thursday, and tutors are needed!

One of the greatest influences we can have in our community is through prayer. Come join us in the Fireside Room right after second service. Bring your lunch with you, and as we eat we will discuss specific prayer needs and identifying our target neighborhoods that we will be walking and praying for together, and then we will go and walk those specific areas and spend time praying together for our community. This is also an awesome opportunity to interact with people in the neighborhood and invite them to Faircreek! We will be back at church by 2:00.
Summer Lunch Program:
We have an awesome opportunity to feed kids in our community and share the Gospel this summer, and we need your help!! We are partnering with Fairborn City Schools for the Summer Lunch Program, and we need volunteers to sign up to help serve at one of our 3 feeding sites throughout Fairborn. Do you have any days available this summer that you can give 30 minutes to have influence here in Fairborn?
FISH Food Pantry Collection:
Help us fight local hunger by donating to the FISH Food Pantry! Bring in bags filled with non-perishables food items throughout the year.
Operation Smart Start:
This is a wonderful opportunity to help families in Fairborn start the school year with supplies. We take monetary donations to buy school supplies to hand out to children from preschool through high school. Please specify “Operation Smart Start” in the memo section of your check. 100% of all donations will be used to purchase school supplies.
Backpack distribution is August 12th from 10am-12pm here at Faircreek, and help stuffing and distributing backpacks is always greatly appreciated!
Operation Christmas Child:
Each year, we partner with Samaritan’s Purse to fill shoeboxes that are used to transform the lives of children and their families around the world through the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Click here for more information on how to pack a shoebox.
